Being Noble

I was fortunate this morning to be able to spend time around a breakfast table at Cracker Barrel with guys from the Cool Spring Outdoor Ministry, as well as Mike Young, Director of the Noble Warriors Men's Ministry. It was an encouraging time of fellowship, as we were able to get to know Mike and to get a sense of his passion for transforming men into the spiritual leaders of their families. One of the best tips that we picked up this morning in regards to connecting with men is to think small. Men are challenged at a much higher level to let their guards down, to speak up, and to begin to grow within a small group who meets continually and that can be trusted.

Now I ask you - are you part of an effective men's group, which challenges you to stay the course, to be a man of integrity, to get involved in others' lives to make a difference? If not, I challenge you to consider taking that step today. If you are, think about the guys around you who need that connection. Whether it be around the outdoors, sports, fatherhood, whatever the case, find some common ground with those around you and begin to invest in each other lives. Real change happens there. - GE
