Unfulfilled Harvest

Any crow busters out there? Some of you have probably experienced this thrill - hot and heavy action while it lasts! Most farmers despise crows because of the significant damage that they inflict on crops, and often welcome any "leaded" assistance in keeping their numbers down. I have been noticing crows descending on fields of newly planted winter wheat over the last week or two. The wheat flourishes in the cultivated soil, free from weeds, only to be plucked up in in its early stages by a devious crow.

You know, most Christians initially sprout up in an environment ideally suited for growth, just like that winter wheat. Unfortunately, with all that life throws our way, many of us are tormented, disconnected from these roots, and have our growth sidelined by one emulating the actions of a crow - Satan. And this infuriates God just like the farmer, because His harvest is being impacted. - GE

"We must continue to stay vigilant, warding off the enemy who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy us on our spiritual journey" (John 10:10 paraphrase).
